This policy covers the OpenChatCut website, website accounts and community submissions. OpenChatCut Open Source and OpenChatCut Pro are desktop editors: website browsing data is separate from your local editing projects. A local editing workflow does not mean that website analytics or calls to third-party AI services stay on your device.

The open-source privacy guide explains local projects and external model calls for that edition. Pro's product page is not a promise of identical data flows; the distributed Pro version must explain any license checks and connected services before use.

Information We Collect

5. Community Submissions — Resource packages, preview inputs, author names, descriptions and license choices you submit for review. Approved resources and their public attribution are published for others to view and download. Do not submit private editing footage as a public preview.

The website integrates Vercel Web Analytics for page views and interaction events. It can also load Google Analytics or Plausible when those services are configured. Analytics may include page URLs, referrers, browser and device details; see Vercel's data collection documentation. Account sessions and preferences may use cookies or browser storage.

AI requests made from a desktop editor are handled by the model provider you select and may include prompts, project context or media needed for that request. Review that provider's policy before sending sensitive material. Pro purchasing is not open on this website; payment data processing must be disclosed when checkout becomes available.
